The IC as Theater
Looking forward into the new year we discuss the wonderful potential of living life fully engaged in reality with our confident relationship with Father, as opposed to the unreality of the theater that was and often times is the institutional church.

Complacency

As we looked back on 2009, and the challenges that people have faced, our conversation turned to the trap of complacency. Often we tend to get our eyes on our self or our situation, but what does Father have for us in this new year? How do we get our eyes back on him?

ClarificationAnswering our critics.  We thought to do this podcast to clarify some of our positions and thoughts regarding God’s nature, the Bible, the Old and New Covenants and other criticisms we’ve received.  (Note: This podcast also has less than desirable audio quality, but we’ve figured out what went wrong and have since corrected the problem, so this is the last podcast where the audio quality is below our normal standard.)

Spiritual Disciplines

Often we first learn and develop spiritual disciplines in the IC when it comes to prayer, reading the Bible and a host of other spiritual disciplines.  So how does that change once you’re now longer under the religious obligations of the IC?  Do you just get lazy or is there another motivating factor?  (Note: The audio quality on this podcast is below our normal standard due to a technical mishap.)
